What an assessment is
A licensed technician comes to your home for about an hour. They take air samples, inspect the HVAC system, check temperatures room by room and run particle counts, and they talk to you about what you have noticed. Afterwards you get a plain-English write-up: what is good, what to fix, what to keep an eye on.
Booking, and what it costs
An assessment is $249, paid on the day. Other visits are quoted, and you get clear scope and pricing before you authorize any work. Sending the form on this site is a request, not a booking: the office confirms the time with you by email, and nothing is charged before the visit. Somebody 18 or over needs to be home while we are there.
Changing or cancelling
Reply to the confirmation email. There is no charge for changing or cancelling a visit.
Monitoring
If you take continuous monitoring, we fit a monitor and you get an account on Aeritas, the platform behind it, where you can see what the air in your home is doing. It tells you when something is trending the wrong way. It is not a smoke alarm, a carbon monoxide detector or a medical device, and it should not be relied on as any of those.
What we can and cannot promise
We will tell you what we measured and what we think it means, honestly, including when the reading is not clear enough to draw a conclusion from. What we cannot promise is a particular result: a house is a physical thing and some of what affects its air is outside it.
